Seattle Reports Most Dangerous Intersections for Pedestrians l Seattle Accident Attorney

The City of Seattle just released its report on the most dangerous intersections in the city.  The City has posted its map showing all pedestrian car accident cases occurring in the city. Parents’ decision hurts their child l Seattle Accident Lawyer

Davis Law Group received a call this week from a distraught mother about her 15-year-old son who was hit by a car while crossing the street.  The boy received life-threatening injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, collapsed lung, shattered pelvis, shattered leg, broken arm, and internal injuries.  The boy’s medical expenses to date are more than $300,000. Seattle’s “Crosswalk Sting” Receiving Attention Across Country l Seattle Accident Attorney

I previously wrote about the City of Seattle’s decision to operate “crosswalk sting” investigations during 2009.  Previous media reports were that the City Council was concerned about an increase in car-pedestrian accidents. Too Many Pedestrian Accidents Lately l Seattle Accident Attorney

Pedestrian Fatality Accident Statistics l Seattle Accident Attorney

My friend and Florida personal injury attorney, Jim Dodson, recently blogged about pedestrian fatal accidents.  Mr. Dodson cites the pedestrian fatal accident statistics for 2007, as compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  The NHTSA reports that there were 4,654 pedestrian fatalities in 2007 alone.  There were also statistics reported concerning the location and conditions at the time of the traffic accidents.
