A South Carolina newspaper has reported that a woman was attacked and mauled to death by two rottweiler dogs.  The dogs apparently had escaped from their owner’s yard before and occasionally roamed the neighborhood.  The dogs’ owner even tried to protect the woman, identified as Sirlinda Hayes, age 66.  But the dogs then turned on their owner and viciously attacked him as well.  The owner has been hospitalized for several days. Another Dog Attack – 9 month-old Baby Severely Maimed l Seattle Injury Attorney

Boy Attacked by Dog in Finley, WA l Seattle Dog Bite Book

The authorities in Finley, Washington reported that a 9-year-old boy was viciously attacked by a neighbor’s dog while walking home.  The boy’s mother, Shanda Reed, reports that the dog was a border collie mix.  The wound was to the boy’s face, and was quite serious.  The Benton County Sheriff’s office states that the boy is lucky to be alive given the severity of the bite wound, which required at least 20 stitches.
