About Chris Davis

Seattle accident attorney Chris Davis has spent the last 17+ years “leveling the playing field” between accident victims and insurance companies. He is passionately devoted to educating the public about the insurance and legal claims process.  Mr. Davis is also committed to advancing and perfecting trial techniques and communication strategies on behalf of injured victims.

In 2006, Mr. Davis was named a “Rising Star Attorney” (top 2.5% of lawyers in the state under the age of 40 as voted by other lawyers) by the legal publication Washington Law & Politics (WLP).  In 2007, WLP named Mr. Davis a “Super Lawyer” (top 5% of all lawyers in the state of Washington as voted by all other lawyers).  Mr. Davis was also named a “Super Lawyer” in 2008, 2009 and recently in 2010.  He has also been listed by WLP in ‘Who’s Who in Personal Injury Law’ (The top 40 PI attorneys in Washington). In 2007, Mr. Davis was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Washington State Association of Justice (WSAJ).  Since 2007, and each year thereafter, Mr. Davis was recognized as a lawyer in the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Washington State” by the American Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Davis teaches and lectures other lawyers about trial techniques and other matters in the field of personal injury.

Mr. Davis believes that all lawyers have an obligation to educate the public and give back to the community.  To fulfill this obligation, Mr. Davis has authored and published five (5) books in the last four years:

  1. The Ten Biggest Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Washington Accident Case;
  2. Little Kids, Big Accidents: A Parent’s Guide to Understanding the Claims Process;
  3. When the Dog Bites: Understanding Dog Bite Law in Washington;
  4. Washington Injury Law: A Reference Guide for Accident Victims; and
  5. Wrongful Death in Washington State.

Mr. Davis offers these books for free as a public service to accident victims and their family members who reside in Washington state.

Mr. Davis was born and raised in Washington, in the cities of Redmond, Kirkland and Bellevue.  He graduated in 1989 with honors from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration and Finance.  He graduated from law school at the University of Oregon. Mr. Davis currently lives in Seattle with his wife, their two children and dog named Bogie.  He is an avid snow skier, jogger, and also enjoys boating, golf, tennis, traveling, and sports.
